September brought with it both the pull of routine and the invitation to pause. As the seasons began to shift, I found myself writing about slowing down, belonging, and noticing the small but significant moments that hold us steady.

As the month has closed, I’ve gathered together the month’s musings, a favourite image, and a little invitation to join me in October for a creative pause.

Posts from September

In case you missed any, here are the pieces I shared this past month:

  • Beyond Counting – exploring the ways we measure meaning beyond numbers.

  • Carrying What’s Ours – a reflection on what we carry and what we can gently set down.

  • The Art of the Exhale – finding release and rest in life’s pauses.

  • Kites, Cake, and the Winds of Well – a story of joy, celebration, and unexpected gusts.

  • The Badling of Belonging – reflections on flocking together, belonging, and the comfort of community.

Image of the Month

This month, I’ve chosen “Let’s Just Sit Here and Breathe” as my image of the month.
It captures something of the pause I’ve been writing about, a gentle reminder to simply be.
